Why we cut this one
We build this laptop sleeves around MacBook Pro 2022/MacBook Air Retina. The E454 pattern is ours. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
The point of cutting the E454 tight to the MacBook Pro is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
Pack the MacBook Pro, then a phone, its cable and a set of keys, and the pink shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
