Why we cut this one

DELL XPS 13 9345 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. We drew the A1465 around the DELL XPS 13 with that in mind.

Pack the DELL XPS 13, then a phone, its cable and a set of keys, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.

You are looking at the Black version in 13 inch. It was measured against 13 inch DELL XPS 13 Plus/13 2 in 1, for 11.6 inch Apple MacBook Air Early 2014/2015 A1465, with Pocket, Water-Resistant.

Before you buy

Is there room for the charger of the DELL XPS 13?

Yes — next to the DELL XPS 13 the pocket takes a phone, its cable and a set of keys. Bulky gaming bricks fit too, though the front then sits a little proud.

Does it fit in a briefcase as well?

Yes — the outer walls of the A1465 stay flat, so with the DELL XPS 13 inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a briefcase without bulging.

Can I order a second one for another machine?

Yes, and people often do — one for the DELL XPS 13 and one for whatever lives at home. Check the second machine against its own page; patterns are not shared across makes.
