Why we cut this one
The E601 pattern is ours. We made this for Lenovo/ASUS/DELL/MSI, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
What we care about is the gap between the Lenovo and the wall around it. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Besides the Lenovo it swallows a brick, two cables and a pass, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.
You are looking at the plain version in 16 inch. It was measured against 16 inch Lenovo Legion, ASUS ProArt Studiobook, DELL Precision, MSI, Protective Laptop Case with Pocket(E601).
