Why we cut this one
Dell Inspiron-14 5440/7445 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
We tried this pattern the way the Dell Inspiron-14 actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year.
Pack the Dell Inspiron-14, then a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
The Black finish is what this listing is in 14 inch — it was measured against 14inch Dell Pro 14-PC14250, Pro Essential PV14250/PV14255,Latitude 3440/3450,Dell-14 Plus 2-in-1(EF460).
