Why we cut this one
We build this laptop sleeves around HP EliteBook 840 G8. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
We tried this pattern the way the HP EliteBook 840 G8 actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year.
The front compartment takes a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
