Why we cut this one

ASUS ROG Strix G16 2025 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. We drew this pattern around the ASUS ROG Strix G16 with that in mind.

Besides the ASUS ROG Strix G16 it swallows an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.

You are looking at the plain version in 15.6 inch. It was measured against 16 inch ASUS ROG Strix G16 2025 G614/2024,ROG Strix Scar 16 2023/2024,15.6 inch ASUS 2021 ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE(EF650).

Before you buy

Will the ASUS ROG Strix G16 still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in this pattern. A second hard shell already clipped to the ASUS ROG Strix G16 is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.

Does it fit in a briefcase as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the ASUS ROG Strix G16 inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a briefcase without bulging.
