Why we cut this one

DELL G15 Gaming Laptop — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. We drew this pattern around the DELL G15 Gaming Laptop with that in mind.

The front compartment takes a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus — enough that a 15.6-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.

Black in 15.6 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against 15.6 inch DELL G15 Gaming Laptop, with Accessory Pocket(EF652).

Before you buy

Will the DELL G15 Gaming Laptop still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in this pattern. A second hard shell already clipped to the DELL G15 Gaming Laptop is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.

Does it fit in a briefcase as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the DELL G15 Gaming Laptop inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a briefcase without bulging.

Can I order a second one for another machine?

Yes, and people often do — one for the DELL G15 Gaming Laptop and one for whatever lives at home. Check the second machine against its own page; patterns are not shared across makes.
