Why we cut this one

We made this for DELL XPS 16, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.

The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. That matters more on the DELL XPS 16 than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.

Alongside the DELL XPS 16 there is room for a notebook, a pen and a card wallet. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.

This one is the Black cut in 16.3 inch. It was measured against 15.6 inch DELL Latitude 3540/3550,for 16 inch Precision 5680/5690 Workstation, for 16.3 inch Dell Premium DA16250(EF637).

Before you buy

Does this pattern hold its shape with nothing inside?

It does. That is the point of moulded EVA — the case stands on a shelf empty and does not collapse into a fold, so the DELL XPS 16 slides back in without a fight.

Does it fit in a tote as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the DELL XPS 16 inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a tote without bulging.

Can I order a second one for another machine?

Yes, and people often do — one for the DELL XPS 16 and one for whatever lives at home. Check the second machine against its own page; patterns are not shared across makes.
