Why we cut this one
We cut this one for Gopro Hero 13/12/11/10/MAX/9/8/7/6/DJI OSMO Action 5 pro, Aluminum Shoe Mount Adapter. the pole locks at each section — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
What we care about is the gap between the Gopro Hero 13 and the wall around it. The locking collars are the part that fails first on a cheap pole, so ours are metal and they bite on a wet hand. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a slim case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
