Why we cut this one
This is our organizers and small shells made for Apple. each hollow is cut to the thing that goes in it, so the fit is a fit and not an approximation.
Small things travel worst, because they rattle against each other all day. Every hollow here is cut to one object. That matters more on the Apple than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.
Pack the Apple, then a phone, its cable and a set of keys, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
