Why we cut this one

The S452 pattern is ours. We made this for DELL Latitude 7350 Detachable, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.

A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the DELL Latitude the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.

Besides the DELL Latitude it swallows a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.

Does the S452 hold its shape with nothing inside?

It does. That is the point of moulded EVA — the case stands on a shelf empty and does not collapse into a fold, so the DELL Latitude slides back in without a fight.

Does it fit in a briefcase as well?

Yes — the outer walls of the S452 stay flat, so with the DELL Latitude inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a briefcase without bulging.
