Why we cut this one
The S401 pattern is ours. We made this for Microsoft 2025 Surface Laptop, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. That matters more on the Microsoft than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.
The front compartment takes a brick, two cables and a pass — enough that a 13-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
Black in 13 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against 13 inch Microsoft Surface Pro 12th Edition 2026,Case with Textured Fabric,Pocket,Patented Super-Corner Design(S401).
