Why we cut this one
We build this laptop sleeves around Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 8 2 in 1. The S413B pattern is ours. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Pack the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga, then a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus, and the blue shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
