Why we cut this one

We made this for DELL Inspiron 15, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the handle and the strap are already on it.

Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The strap anchors are riveted through a doubled panel, because that is the seam that tears when a bag is full. We drew this pattern around the DELL Inspiron 15 with that in mind.

There is a flat pocket for a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the DELL Inspiron 15.

You are looking at the Black version in 15.6 inch. It was measured against 15.6 inch DELL Latitude 5550/5540/5530/3550/3540,15.6inch Vostro 15/Vostro 3520,Hard Carrying Case with Handle.

Before you buy

Can I run a trolley strap through the 15.6-inch case?

Yes. The back panel is flat and firm, so a trolley strap or a shoulder strap sits across it without folding the case or pressing on the DELL Inspiron 15.

Will the zip pull scratch the DELL Inspiron 15?

No. The sliders on this pattern sit in a recessed channel and the pull folds flat, so the metal never reaches the DELL Inspiron 15.

What if the DELL Inspiron 15 turns out to be a different revision?

Fit is the one thing we would rather you check twice. Compare the model number on the base of the DELL Inspiron 15 with the list on this page, and if it is not there, send the case back through the order page of the store you bought it from.
