Why we cut this one
We made this for DELL Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme Table, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
The point of cutting this pattern tight to the DELL Latitude is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
Pack the DELL Latitude, then a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus, and the elite-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
This one is the Elite-Black cut in 12 inch. It was measured against DELL Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme Table.
