Why we cut this one
The E454 pattern is ours. We made this for Apple MacBook Pro/DELL Pro/HP EliteBook, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. That matters more on the Apple MacBook Pro than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.
The front compartment takes a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus — enough that a 13.3-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
