The point of cutting the S420B tight to the Razer Blade 14 is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
The front compartment takes a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
