Why we cut this one
We build this laptop sleeves around HP Laptop 15t/15z. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the HP Laptop 15t the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Pack the HP Laptop 15t, then a brick, two cables and a pass, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
This one is the plain cut in 15.6 inch. It was measured against HP Laptop 15t/15z.
