Why we cut this one
DELL XPS 16 DA16260 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
The point of cutting the S645 tight to the DELL XPS 16 DA16260 is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
The front compartment takes a phone, its cable and a set of keys — enough that a 16-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
The Black finish is what this listing is in 16 inch — it was measured against 16 inch DELL XPS 16 DA16260,Case with Textured Fabric,Pocket, Patented Super-Corner Design (S645).
