Why we cut this one
We made this for Lenovo, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
The point of cutting this pattern tight to the Lenovo is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
Pack the Lenovo, then a phone, its cable and a set of keys, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
Black in 14 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against Lenovo.
