Why we cut this one
We made this for ASUS/DELL/HP, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the ASUS the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Pack the ASUS, then an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
Black in 15 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against ASUS/DELL/HP.
