Why we cut this one
The A485S pattern is ours. We made this for 15.6-16 inch DELL, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the handle and the strap are already on it.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the 15.6-16 inch DELL the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The strap anchors are riveted through a doubled panel, because that is the seam that tears when a bag is full. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Alongside the 15.6-16 inch DELL there is room for a phone, its cable and a set of keys. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
This one is the Black cut in 16 inch. It was measured against 15.6-16 inch DELL Precision 3570/3571/3580/3581/3590/3591/5570/5680/5690,DELL XPS 15/16 (A485S).
