Why we cut this one

The MS118 pattern is ours. We made this for Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the lid folds back into a wedge.

We tried the MS118 the way the Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open.

Besides the Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS it swallows a charger, a short cable and a mouse, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.

This one is the MS - Black cut in 17.3 inch. It was measured against Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS.

Before you buy

Can I run a trolley strap through the 17.3-inch case?

Yes. The back panel is flat and firm, so a trolley strap or a shoulder strap sits across it without folding the case or pressing on the Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS.

Will the zip pull scratch the Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS?

No. The sliders on the MS118 sit in a recessed channel and the pull folds flat, so the metal never reaches the Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS.

Does the MS118 come with a warranty?

Every case we press carries our manufacturing warranty, and the one cut for the Acer Aspire 5 A517-53-78TS is no exception. Claims go through the order page of the store you bought from — they hold the record of the purchase, so they can settle it fastest.
