Why we cut this one
We build this hard cases with a built-in stand around Acer Nitro 5 AN517-42-R5KZ. The MS130 pattern is ours. the lid folds back into a wedge, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
We tried the MS130 the way the Acer Nitro 5 AN517-42-R5KZ actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open.
There is a flat pocket for a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the Acer Nitro 5 AN517-42-R5KZ.
This one is the MS - Black cut in 17.3 inch. It was measured against 17.3 inch Acer Nitro 5 AN517-42-R5KZ/AN517-42-R35M, for Nitro 17 AN17-71-75VK/AN17-51-70CB, Protective Case.
