Why we cut this one
The MS42 pattern is ours. We made this for Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen 8, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the lid folds back into a wedge.
We tried the MS42 the way the Lenovo Yoga 6 actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open.
The front compartment takes a brick, two cables and a pass — enough that a 13-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
