Why we cut this one
We cut this one for DELL Latitude 5450. the lid folds back into a wedge — the MS43 pattern means it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open. We drew the MS43 around the DELL Latitude with that in mind.
Besides the DELL Latitude it swallows a brick, two cables and a pass, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.
This one is the plain cut in 14 inch. It was measured against 14 inch DELL Latitude 5450/5431, for 14 inch DELL Precision 3490/3480/3470 Workstation Sleeve, Green.
