Why we cut this one

This is our hard cases with a built-in stand made for HP 14t/14z/14. The MS53 pattern is ours. the lid folds back into a wedge, so the fit is a fit and not an approximation.

What we care about is the gap between the HP 14t and the wall around it. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.

There is a flat pocket for a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the HP 14t.

Does the MS53 hold its shape with nothing inside?

It does. That is the point of moulded EVA — the case stands on a shelf empty and does not collapse into a fold, so the HP 14t slides back in without a fight.

Will the zip pull scratch the HP 14t?

No. The sliders on the MS53 sit in a recessed channel and the pull folds flat, so the metal never reaches the HP 14t.
