Why we cut this one
Microsoft Surface 6/5/4/3 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the lid folds back into a wedge, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
What we care about is the gap between the Microsoft Surface 6 and the wall around it. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Alongside the Microsoft Surface 6 there is room for a phone, its cable and a set of keys. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
