Why we cut this one
The MS85T pattern is ours. We made this for Dell Latitude 3550, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the lid folds back into a wedge.
What we care about is the gap between the Dell Latitude and the wall around it. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
There is a flat pocket for a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the Dell Latitude.
