Why we cut this one
The MS86 pattern is ours. We made this for ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the lid folds back into a wedge.
The point of cutting the MS86 tight to the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is simple: The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
Pack the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16, then a brick, two cables and a pass, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
