Why we cut this one

Lenovo Legion 7i Gen9 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the lid folds back into a wedge, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

We tried the MS98 the way the Lenovo Legion 7i Gen9 actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open.

Besides the Lenovo Legion 7i Gen9 it swallows a notebook, a pen and a card wallet, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.

This one is the MS - White cut in 16 inch. It was measured against Lenovo Legion Slim 7i/5i Gen 9/8, for Legion 5 Pro Gen 7, Case (Not Fit LegionPro 7i Gen10), White.

Before you buy

Does the MS98 hold its shape with nothing inside?

It does. That is the point of moulded EVA — the case stands on a shelf empty and does not collapse into a fold, so the Lenovo Legion 7i Gen9 slides back in without a fight.

Is the 16-inch case water-resistant?

It sheds rain on the walk from the car to the door, and the Lenovo Legion 7i Gen9 stays dry inside. It is not a dry bag — do not put it under water and expect the same.

Does the MS98 come with a warranty?

Every case we press carries our manufacturing warranty, and the one cut for the Lenovo Legion 7i Gen9 is no exception. Claims go through the order page of the store you bought from — they hold the record of the purchase, so they can settle it fastest.
