Why we cut this one

MacBook Pro M4 2024 /M3 2023/M2 A2991 A2780 A2485,ROG Zephyrus G15/Zephyrus Duo 15 SE, IdeaPad Gaming 3,ASUS TUF F15/A15 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the laptop sits in its own hard-topped well, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The laptop well is hard-topped and suspended off the base, so setting the pack down does not put the machine on the floor. We drew the A2991 around the MacBook Pro M4 with that in mind.

Pack the MacBook Pro M4, then a charger, a short cable and a mouse, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.

You are looking at the plain version in 16 inch. It was measured against MacBook Pro M4 2024 /M3 2023/M2 A2991 A2780 A2485,ROG Zephyrus G15/Zephyrus Duo 15 SE, IdeaPad Gaming 3,ASUS TUF F15/A15.

Before you buy

Is there room for the charger of the MacBook Pro M4?

Yes — next to the MacBook Pro M4 the pocket takes a charger, a short cable and a mouse. Bulky gaming bricks fit too, though the front then sits a little proud.

How do I clean the black finish?

A damp cloth and nothing else, with the MacBook Pro M4 taken out first. Solvents lift the coating off the outer skin of the A2991 and leave a dull patch that never evens out.

Can I order a second one for another machine?

Yes, and people often do — one for the MacBook Pro M4 and one for whatever lives at home. Check the second machine against its own page; patterns are not shared across makes.
