Why we cut this one
We cut this one for Apple/HP/acer/MSI. the lid folds back into a wedge — the A488S pattern means it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
What we care about is the gap between the Apple and the wall around it. The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Alongside the Apple there is room for a notebook, a pen and a card wallet. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
