Why we cut this one
DJI Mavic 3/Mavic 3 Classic/3E/3T Combo — that is the machine this one was measured against. moulded foam cradles every arm and lens, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
What we care about is the gap between the DJI Mavic 3 and the wall around it. The foam is cut, not poured, so the camera, the arms and the spare cells each have a hollow that holds them still. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Alongside the DJI Mavic 3 there is room for a notebook, a pen and a card wallet. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
