Why we cut this one
Mavic Platinum — that is the machine this one was measured against. moulded foam cradles every arm and lens, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The foam is cut, not poured, so the camera, the arms and the spare cells each have a hollow that holds them still. We drew this pattern around the Mavic Platinum with that in mind.
The front compartment takes a charger, a short cable and a mouse — enough that a slim case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
