Why we cut this one

This is our poles, grips and mounts made for Insta360 X5. the pole locks at each section, so the fit is a fit and not an approximation.

A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Insta360 X5 the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The locking collars are the part that fails first on a cheap pole, so ours are metal and they bite on a wet hand. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.

Pack the Insta360 X5, then a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.

I love my pole! I have had my gopro attached to this since I purchased it. I was absolutely blown away at the quality of this pole. So whats in the box? I got the extendable pole, it already has the mount screwed in the top, and a tiny tripod that screws into the bottom. I use my pole without any extensions for support and without being extended this pole is about a foot long maybe 14 inches.

We used this the first time the other night and it worked perfectly. No complaints, worth the price for sure. It has a really easy release mechanism for lowering the tri-pod and lots of levels to choose from. The pictures below show it up against a standard door to give you an idea of how tall it gets and how short it goes. It has a strap on the bottom of the tri-pod for easy carrying of just the selfie stick.

Can I run a trolley strap through the slim case?

Yes. The back panel is flat and firm, so a trolley strap or a shoulder strap sits across it without folding the case or pressing on the Insta360 X5.

Does it fit in a messenger bag as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the Insta360 X5 inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a messenger bag without bulging.
