Why we cut this one
We build this cases for cameras and drones around GoPro Hero 13/12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5. The GA700 pattern is ours. moulded foam cradles every arm and lens, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the GoPro Hero 13 the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The foam is cut, not poured, so the camera, the arms and the spare cells each have a hollow that holds them still. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Pack the GoPro Hero 13, then a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch, and the large-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
